In this first program of our series of programs from the 2007 Roswell 60th Anniversary Festival, Jerry interviews UFO Researchers, and co-authors of the new book, Witness to Roswell, Tom Carey and Don Schmitt at the Cover-Up Cafe, located in Roswell just down the street from the UFO Museum.

Jerry talks with Tom and Don about their discoveries of new witnesses and information concerning the 1947 UFO crash. Much like a criminal attorney would lay out a circumstantial case, the two researchers use their book to show that the evidence, based on eyewitness testimony, overwhelmingly supports the assertion that the crash and a subsequent cover-up did occur. Schmitt and Carey were also long time acquaintances of Walter Haut, who was the Public Information Officer at the base at the time of the crash.

Haut's affidavit, released to them and contained in their new book states specifically that one live ET, five ET bodies and an escape capsule were recovered. Two of the bodies were recovered at the escape capsule crash site and three more were recovered some 2.5 miles from the debris field near Corona.

Program Information

"Witness to Roswell" co-author Don Schmitt does a one on one interview with Jerry about the new witnesses identified and reported in the book. Schmitt tells Jerry about some of the things that happened to many eyewitnesses, including intimidation by the Sheriff and Department of War (now Defense).

New details about the multiple crash sites, how the media was manipulated by the government, and how the local media in Roswell tried to report the story against huge odds of success are revealed by Don.
